By Shadomain Staff
Shadomain.com began a few years ago at the beginning of September, so each year we build a project plan outlining and planning out our goals for the following year. Of course our obligation to continue writing weekly TTRPG content comes first, but the project plan outlines something outside of our weekly work, something new to expand what we offer to the community. Our main goal last year was to write for other companies (outside of our own blog), and as a result Jason has written many articles for Kobold Press’s blog.
Our Main Goal
Our main goal for the following year is to publish a project we’ve been working on over the past few months. A combination of weird west+gothic horror+post-apocalypse game, setting and adv enture(s). We’ll be revealing the details soon, and you’ll be able to see it’s development and play test as we create when you sign-up for our email list.
More Than a Blog – Now Also a Zine!
We’re also expanding our reach from the blog to include a monthly TTRPG zine. The zine will feature new creatures, adventures, spells and ideas that don’t appear in the regular blog. The zine will be a FREE PDF for those who sign-up for our email list, and will be available in print by mail for a small fee.
Wednesday Content
Our weekly articles will continue to appear every Monday, and interviews will appear there as well from time to time. On Wednesdays we’re starting a new feature – A High Level 5e Campaign Diary. It’s been said for a long time that it’s difficult to challenge higher level PCs in 5e based games. I’ve been running a 5e campaign which started at level 1 in January 2022 and it’s still going, with the PCs currently at level 16. Each week I’ll post notes from my weekly campaign – thoughts about prepping and running for high level PCs and thoughts of the players, so we all learn together what worked and what didn’t work.
