Today we wanted to recommend a new Kickstarter campaign with 21 days to go (as of October 2, 2024).
It's JP Coovert's Flick Silverpen's Guide to Dragon Town and the Darkness Below. It's described as "A hardcover collection of system-neutral fantasy adventures set in a whimsical town and the winding and weird caves beneath it."JP is a noted writer, illustrator, game designer and YouTuber. He illustrates his own work in a bright, friendly style that invites you in and promises a lot of fun. While his work is appropriate for all ages it's by no means "kid stuff". It's written and designed in a casual style that appeals to everyone.
If you're not familiar with the author you should check out his YouTube channel. He's the most enthusiastic speaker for TTRPGs you can imagine, and gives great advice on game design, creating your own art and making 'zines!
(His channel was the inspiration for the recently launched Shadomain Zine which you get free as a PDF by subbing to our email list).
Go check it out and let us know what you think!
