It’s Wednesday so it’s time for another interview with a member of the TTRPG community! Today we’ll hear from Christopher Robin Negelein from Ganza Gaming.
What does he do?
Part time Game Writer and Graphic Designer, pretty much a one-person ttrpg making outfit. I’m one of the invited designers to start Cypher System Open License games.

And I am one of the contributing writers for Esper Genesis, the 5e sci-fi game.

I’ve also done 5-star community content for 5e, Tiny d6 and Fantasy Age.

Do you prefer playing TTRPGs online or in person, and why?
As a GM, I prefer gaming in person, there’s a great energy at the table. I enjoy GMing online as well, but I get more easily distracted. As a player, I can do either.
What is your favorite(s) TV Show or Movie?
I have soooo many. From the ‘80s classics like Dark Crystal and Labyrinth to the Expanse.
Describe your ideal job or assignment in the TTRPG space?
Simply what I am doing now but full time. I’d like to get back to having enough time to do some fiction.
If you created an undead creature or animal that doesn’t currently exist, what would it be?
My take would be an undead creature who attacks defeat by exploding into smaller undead creatures but after decades of imagination and hundreds of RPGs, I can’t imagine there are any original undead left.
Have you ever felt like an outsider in the TTRPG space? Describe if you can.
Yes. I was the guy who was always trying to get my group to try something other than AD&D and wondering why others didn’t want to try new rules and other settings other than vanilla pseudo Tolkein world.
Something else you’d like us to know about you:
I have a 173 page playtest for a zombie monster setting with bits of Last of Us/Mad Max/Resident Evil. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zOtx_2uW1mq5GjWifPHwOX1uWLwIjzSy/view?usp=sharing
And next year, I have a crowdfunding project – The Mystery Flesh Pit National Park: The RPG.

Thanks, Christopher!
