Today we release our latest TTRPG game, Hint!
Hint is a one-shot adventure inspired by classic murder mystery board games. Created by Jason Campbell, it uses an open mystery system, so neither the players nor the GM know the solution to the crime until the climax of the adventure. Hint is available in two formats; as an adventure for the Brindlewood Bay RPG, and as a complete TTRPG using a simplified version of the Cypher System.
Hint for Brindlewood Bay

Brindlewood Bay is a role playing game by Jason Cordova, published by The Gauntlet. The player characters are “Murder Mavens”, elderly women members of a book club who are fans of the Gold Crown Mysteries book series and end up solving crimes themselves, often uncovering cults worshiping eldritch horrors. In Hint, The Murder Mavens have been invited to a secret playtest of “Hint” – a soon to be released murder mystery board game based on the Gold Crown Mysteries book series. The Mavens soon find themselves embroiled in a mystery.
Hint Using Cypher System

Monte Cook Games’ Cypher System roleplaying game is a genre neutral set of rules which can be used for any type of game from fantasy to horror to sci-fi, or anything else. Cypher System is the rule system behind RPGs such as Numenera, Old Gods of Appalachia and The Magnus Archives. Hint uses a simplified version of the Cypher System rules focused on investigation. This format includes complete rules and is playable without any other rule books. The game includes character creation rules (featuring new abilities) and pre-generated characters.
